Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst who will support the supply chain operations and sales teams in managing and optimizing inventory levels. This position is designed to provide valuable experience aimed at skill development to ensure that inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand while reducing excess stock and associated costs. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of identifying root causes and summarizing necessary actions to be taken. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments including purchasing, logistics, and sales to forecast demand accurately, plan inventory replenishment, and address any inventory-related challenges. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless and cost-efficient flow of goods from suppliers, while also meeting customer demands and fostering strong supplier relationships.
Duties:
· Analyze inventory levels, history and trends to identify opportunities for improvements.
(Taking into consideration available inventory, goods in transit and open orders)
· Monitor inventory levels and product movement to ensure alignment with sales demand.
· Coordinate with Logistics and Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
· Follow up with inventory audits (Cycle count) to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
· Generate reports and provide analysis on key inventory metrics such as stock levels, forecasting performance, slow-moving items, order fulfillment, and others.
· Review the Ladder Plan with Procurement, Logistics, and Sales Teams.
· Determine the high-priority items requiring expedited processing through logistics and warehousing.
· Create Production Orders and guide the warehouse team on processing goods and timely execution of orders.
· Follow up with production, shipments, and receive of procured goods, and provide weekly updates to the organization.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
· Assist the Inventory Planning Manager with the development and implementation of inventory management strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
· Stay informed about suppliers' capabilities or restrictions and logistics situations that may impact goods availability.
· Review purchase needs with Procurement (weekly)
· Support inventory management for Tramontina India, Canada and China units.
· Create Purchase Order requisitions based on analysis in IBP.
· Provide support to the Inventory Planning Manager in daily tasks.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
2 - 4 years of Proven experience in inventory management and analysis
- Proficiency in supply chain management practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Full time: M - F; regular business hours: Salary up to: $63,500.00 depending on experience
