The Arizona Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for supporting all cultivation processes within the Green Dot Labs (GDL) cultivation facility. Strong organizational and technical skills are required to align production priorities with the strategic goals of GDL’s Cultivation Management team. The Cultivation Supervisor must have strong communication skills to support the assignment, monitoring and assessment of daily duties performed by the cultivation staff. This role will be responsible for supporting facility modifications, technical troubleshooting of mechanical/automated systems and making data-based recommendations to the Cultivation Management team.
The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for supporting activities including but not limited to:
Compliance/Inventory Control Systems:
Ensure compliance with all city, county and state regulations including, but not limited to the MED's Current & Permanent Marijuana Rules for Licensed Premise, RMCF, Transport & Storage, Business Records, Labeling, Packaging & Safety, and Testing.
· Daily reconciliation of all inventory records documenting all activities including but not limited to; new plantings, phase changes, location updates, harvesting, waste and transfers
· Initiating and supporting internal audits with the cultivation leads
· Overseeing projects that support compliance with local police, fire and building codes including; egress clearance, hazardous materials storage/disposal, waste management, odor control, and other facility infrastructure
· Supporting Cultivation Manager during external audits including but not limited to; banks, accountants, local/state regulators and compliance specialists
· Assuring timely and accurate reporting including but not limited to; pesticide application logs, waste logs, product specimen labels/SDS
· Ensuring the cultivation facility and staff maintains full compliance with CDA/WPS regulations
The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for reinforcing workplace compliance within all current state and city regulations, labor laws, safety regulations and GDL policies, Procedures and Guidelines. State and city regulations include, but not limited to:

· M/R 1000 – Labeling, Packaging and Product Safety (note: repealed acts)
Supervisory:
· Monitor timesheets and requests for PTO from cultivation staff. Assist Cultivation Manager in day-to-day management of staff on all teams
· Delegation of activities relating to production schedules and quality control processes
· Support staff training activities including but not limited to compliance updates, cultivation process and techniques, maintenance/repairs and safety
· Participate in regular meetings with Cultivation Management team and facility staff to review current operations, compliance, personnel, maintenance & planning, budgets, inventory planning and stay current with department wide matters of importance
Cultivation:
· Analyze production trends and the relationship to SOP development and change management
· Assist in tending to all stages of plant growth including feeding, transplanting, pruning
· Diagnose and report to Cultivation Manager any issues occurring with seedlings, clones, flowering/vegetative plants, their health, schedule and performance metrics
· Delegate and provide support to IPM processes as scheduled by Cultivation Manager
· Monitor production logs and report on any variances to SOP
Maintenance:
· Assisting with building maintenance including electrical, HVAC and irrigation as directed by Cultivation Manager
· Maintaining cultivation area is in good working condition including coordination of cleaning, maintenance activities and repairs
· Providing regular support on facility projects including construction, install and commissioning of technical systems
· Maintaining high-level of knowledge and expertise related to the latest technology within indoor cannabis farming
Inventory Management:
· Receiving, storage and organization of supplies and equipment
· Maintaining proper safety stock of maintenance items and critical equipment
· Support the alignment of planting schedule with department inventory strategies
· Manage the retention and development of new and existing GDL cultivars including documentation of strain specific growth metrics
Work Environment:
· Approximately 40-hour work week including weekends
· Overtime hours as requested and approved by Cultivation Manager
· Working hours will be spent in the cultivation facility
· Moderate physical activity such as walking and lifting is required daily, must be able to lift at least 60 pounds, able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend, push, pull and reach
· Safety gear and PPE, such as sunglasses, gloves, goggles, ear protection and safety footwear must be worn

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Working knowledge of indoor commercial agricultural practices and systems including but not limited to: propagation techniques, irrigation, greenhouse production methods
· Working knowledge of cannabis anatomy and physiology including but not limited to: needs of specific growth phases, diagnosing nutritional toxicities/deficiencies, identifying signs of over/underwatering, communicating with proper and standardized terminology
· Possesses physical dexterity necessary to work with small and delicate products such as clones and trimmings
· Works efficiently, manages time effectively
· Pays close attention to detail
· Able to identify problems or malfunctions with equipment
· Familiarity with all safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, Fire, HazMat, etc.)
Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED required
· 2 years of experience growing cannabis in a licensed facility required
· 2 years of supervisory experience required
· Must have and maintain a current MED badge
· Must have reliable form of transportation
