Primary responsibilities:
● Greet, sell tickets, and check-in all visitors, answering pertinent questions as needed, and informing about current events or special conditions that exist on or around BGH on the day of their visit. Engage visitors and encourage them to join the membership program.
● Help maintain membership program, including corporate memberships. Conduct all pertinent data entry, in coordination with Manager, to ensure timely member notices and renewals.
● Optimize and continually improve the guest experience through excellence in customer service and assistance.
● [TL1] Work with fellow BGH staff at various special events throughout the year
● All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements for the position include:
● 1-2 years of experience in customer relations or similar, preferably within the nonprofit or cultural organization field
● Superb communication (written and verbal) skills
● Good interpersonal skills, especially with the visiting public
● Strong organizational skills
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with membership database and ticketing software preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
