The Call Center Representative is responsible for incoming and outgoing calls for both new and existing patients, including general triage of calls, scheduling and medical records. We are seeking an individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly answers, screens, and processes medical service requests and telephone inquiries utilizing a multi-line phone system.
- Provides high quality customer service to all callers and educates callers on available health-related services.
- Collects and enters patient intake information (e.g., demographics and insurance) into the EHR system to initiate the transaction.
- Utilizes EHR software to schedule appointments, take messages for physician visits and services, and effectively communicates such information to the appropriate party.
- Drops scans and faxes into patients’ charts; responds to medical records requests in a timely manner.
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned. that are assigned by management.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma (or the equivalent).
- 1 year experience in a customer service environment.
- Basic computer skills that include a combination of experience with EHR, Windows Operating System, e-mail, and data entry.
- At least six months' phone experience in a previous job or volunteer position.
- Customer service-oriented team player.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
