Full-time blended position! Waypoint is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our existing OT Team at our Fraser Ford School, a licensed therapeutic preschool and special education program. The Therapist works as part of the child's team to implement treatment goals and provide direct services under the supervision of the Licensed OT, to children aged 3 through Grade 5, in this year-round Day Treatment setting. In addition, and to establish the full-time benefit status, the COTA also obtains DOE certification as an Educational Technician and provides direct instruction to students for part of each week. At Fraser Ford School, we serve children with Autism, developmental disabilities, and related needs in this friendly, active, evidence-based year-round program. The Therapist works in collaboration with on-site professionals that include Special Education Teachers, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech and PT providers, and Educational Technicians/Behavioral Health Professionals who support the children in a 1:1 or 1:2 staffing ratio. We offer a positive, organized, team-based setting, and provide high quality services to the children we support. We welcome you to reach out about our program and how you can join our learning community.
