EMR, a leader in commercial kitchen repair, has a Financial Analyst position open in our Rosedale, MD corporate location. The successful candidate will evaluate the business and end user data requirements then design, execute, and maintain meaningful and accurate management reporting, ultimately enhancing company profitability and performance. Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with Management regarding the reporting needs of the organization.
- Developing and implementing reporting solutions.
- General ledger accounting duties including journal entry posting, account reconciliations, assisting with the monthly close process.
- Working on special projects as requested by the CFO.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence Software.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Microsoft SQL) with the ability to write complex queries.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting concepts & principles, balance sheet reconciliation, and corporate tax.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
