We are seeking a friendly, organized, and efficient Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will handle various administrative tasks to support our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
**SPANISH SPEAKING IS MANDATORY**
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients as they enter the office and make them feel welcome.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, providing information and assistance.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Address patient inquiries regarding appointments, treatments, and billing.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate patient records and update personal, insurance, and medical information.
- Verify and process patient insurance information.
- Collect and process payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Prepare and send out billing statements.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and mail, in a timely and professional manner.
- Office Management:
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
- Order and manage office supplies.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal scheduling.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of patient charts.
- Technology Use:
- Utilize dental practice management software to manage patient records, appointments, and billing.
- Ensure data privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (OPEN DENTAL IS A PLUS) is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and financial transactions.
