Lung and Sleep Specialists of North Texas provides treatment of pulmonary conditions, sleep disorders, allergies and asthma. We provide CPAP and BiPAP machines and treatments that lead to optimal health and well being.
We are looking for a Medical Assistant that is friendly and focused on patient care. If you have a passion to help patients have an excellent quality of life, and have some experience with pulmonology, sleep medicine or acute care, we would love to hear from you.
The following is a list of the primary duties for the Experienced Certified Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
. Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Experience a plus
. Medical TerminologyEClinical Works a plus
. Team Player
. Prior Authorization
. Processing Orders
. Medication refills and managing history
Back office duties
- Rooming patients, taking vitals and data
- Front desk duties
- Schedule patients
- Confirming patients for the Provider(s)
- Check in and checkout duties
- Insurance verification
- Assist providers with patients, procedures, medication administration
- Follow up with patient inquiries and results
- Ensure quality and accurate care is given to patients
- Ensure quality and accurate support is given to providers
- Professional demeanor and appearance are required
- Other duties as assigned
