Job Summary:
The Vice President ("VP") of Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") will oversee AAG's overall financial planning function. The incumbent of the role will work across all business verticals to execute financial planning and reporting actions and drive root cause analysis and financial infrastructure projects.
Additional responsibilities include providing advice guidance to leaders on future financial plans, investigating ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities and driving financial infrastructure projects which simplify, automate, and standardize our processes while generating accurate and timely data.
The VP will manage a team of professionals tasked with preparing monthly and quarterly management reports and carrying out strategic data analysis.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Leadership of financial reporting documents including Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
- Leadership of near-term financial reporting including forecast tracking, preparation of month-end close and reporting to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Identification and quantification of risks and opportunities in current plans
- Optimization of reporting and operating processes
- Ownership of financial planning projects including collaboration with senior business leaders as well as the PMO and Readiness Teams to launch process changes.
- Ownership of free cash flow forecasting and capital planning processes
- Ownership of all financial systems and data to ensure that processes run smoothly, and all financial data is accurate and reported on a timely basis
- Implementation of KPIs to drive internal prediction and formulate business planning to achieve targets.
- Provision of functional user support on tools and adoption of process changes through training materials and coaching
- Provision of ad hoc analysis on financial data for the Senior Leadership Team
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Must have experience with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (3+ Years of hands-on experience).
- Must have advanced excel knowledge.
- Must have experience leading a team of 3+ direct FP&A staff.
- Background having worked with a PE backed firm.
- Must have multi-divisional and multi-currency (international) reporting.
- Must have experience with acquisition, integration, and financial reporting of newly acquired companies.
- Knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proven ability to manage interrelated deliverables across multiple streams with broader organizational goals and understand both the short-term and long-term implications of their decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally, to manage financial technology and process rollouts across multiple teams.
- Problem solver that drives outcomes, process improvement and organizational change. Covering all aspects of ideation through execution.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of communicating effectively and in a timely manner with stakeholders and leadership team.

Education & Experience
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years of FP&A experience (including 3-5 as Director/VP of FP&A)
