Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician in the KidsHaven Program ensures that the program records meet all Federal and State regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements. The focus of the position is to engage in the development and implementation of systems for the analysis, reporting and utilization of data resulting in the improvement of program performance and compliance.
Job Duties:
- Complete all auditing functions, as designed by the program, to ensure that all medical records (in both paper and electronic form) and program paperwork meet all regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Develop and support data collection systems to track and provide access to needed data. Adapt and adjust auditing processes to reflect changes made by regulatory, licensing and accrediting bodies.
- Analyze quality assurance and related data as necessary. Report all identified issues in a timely manner to program leadership. Provide recommendations for system improvement when issues are identified.
- Produce graphic, tabular and narrative reports capturing quality-specific data for organizational and regulatory needs.
- Ensure all reports are accurate and timely.
- Develop, manage and provide upkeep to databases and data collection systems. Develop new databases and redesign existing databases as needed. Support corporate data collection and reporting systems and ensure all corporate auditing requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide consultation, technical support and training to program staff, services, committees and quality improvement teams in relation to data analysis, reporting and performance improvement.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)
- High School Diploma required, Asscoiate's Degree preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in the field of mental health preferred.
- Experience in accreditation, licensing and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Experience in quality assurance and data collection required.
- Communication skills (verbal, reading and written) in English required; Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
