Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for elementary school students
- Provide early intervention and support for students who may be struggling academically or socially
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate lessons and activities
- Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and expectations
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, and other assignments
- Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques
- Proficiency in literacy education strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators
