Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Golden State Assembly, a leading cable harness manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of cable harness projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. This role requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of cable harness manufacturing processes, and effective communication to drive collaboration across various teams.
Responsibilities:
● Strategic project management
● Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
● Efficiently manage project resources, including teams and workers, to achieve optimal outcomes.
● Monitor project progress closely, proactively identifying and addressing any issues.
● Comprehensive project lifecycle oversight.
● Define and refine the project scope and objectives throughout all phases, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
● Rigorously track project costs, making informed decisions to maintain budget compliance.
● Thorough documentation and effective communication.
● Maintain meticulous project documentation, recording key activities and progress.
● Foster transparent and effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and customers.
● Risk assessment and quality assurance leadership.
● Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
● Take the lead in quality assurance efforts to ensure cable harnesses meet or exceed specified standards.
● Versatility in task management.
● Navigate the dynamic nature of project management by handling a variety of tasks.
● Responsibilities may include interviewing and hiring new talent, managing team meetings, reallocating resources to cover unexpected expenses, and updating stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications:
● Three years of experience in a related field.
● Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
● Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
● Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
● Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
● Ability to work on tight deadlines.
● Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)
● Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
