Job Summary:
A CNC Set-up/Programmer will work with a team of other machinists to help produce a variety of products for industries including Aerospace, Defense, process control and other applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the organization assisting with manufacturing of products in an environment that is fast paced and dynamic.
Essential Duties:
· Fully understands CNC equipment and has the ability to train others on equipment
· Full understanding of blueprints and part drawings and has the ability to determine how to measure every feature of the part
· Able to successfully measure parts to ensure quality
· Ability to operate two or more machines at a time and make productivity rate
· Advanced math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
· Fully understand CNC tooling requirements to complete jobs as assigned
· Ability to change tooling/offsets in machines with little to no instruction
· Able to set-up Mills/Lathes with no assistance
· Full ERP System knowledge as related to job
· Competence in manipulating CNC programs to specifications
· Ability to change tooling/offsets in all machines
· Strong communication skills
· Proven leadership abilities
· Fully able and willing to train and develop others
· Proven track record of good attendance
· Ability to maintain a 6S environment within assigned area
· Ability to complete daily required safety, quality and production paperwork
· Full understanding of Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out
· Respect for others, high integrity, operates effectively in a team environment

· Can stand up to 10 hours a day
· Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times a day

Education and Experience Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· 5+ years of related experience
· Ability to read / interpret blueprints
· Basic experience using various mechanical inspection tools
· Knowledge of CNC equipment
· Knowledgeable with computers
