Key Responsibilities of the Architectural Designer:
- Residential Remodel design – From as-built measure and conceptual design to permits and construction documents. You will be working with clients, trade contractors and our in house carpenters to design and build a wide range of residential remodels.
- Residential Permitting – You will be responsible for navigating projects through the permit process both over the counter and full submittal.
- Construction support – You will be involved in your projects throughout the construction process—seeing the details through to the end.
What Qualifications the Architectural Designer will have:
- Design degree (Architectural or Interior--with a construction/residential focus) and 4+ years' experience designing kitchens, baths, and other residential projects required
- An understanding of construction and general residential structure is a must
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Experience with SketchUp a plus
- Permit experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and to hold yourself accountable for results and performance
- Enthusiasm and willingness to grow with the company
- Must be able to commute on a daily basis to Seattle, Washington
