Job Summary:
MudPenny is growing and expanding to a new concept. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
Duties:
- Develop and create innovative menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs effectively
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high performance and productivity
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan special events, catering services, and promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, food handling, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a culinary team
- Previous experience in restaurant management, catering, or hospitality industry
- Proficiency in supervising staff and managing food service operations
- Degree in Culinary Arts or Food Service Management is preferred
