DKW Communications Inc., a government contractor providing professional and technical services for a variety of government agencies. We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst to support the ISEO MH-60 Flight Simulator program located at NAS North Island, CA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Analyze documentation to determine training system impact and to develop software changes on the MH-60R and MH-60S flight simulators.
· Perform the work necessary to design, develop, document, test, integrate, and modify operating systems and application software for aviation training systems.
· Develop, create, troubleshoot, and modify specialized utility programs and applications in support of real-time systems.
· Perform hardware and software development planning in the incorporation of hardware and software modifications into aviation training systems.
· Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage, work processes, and investigating problem areas.
· Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
· Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of Maters degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics. (Bachelors degree and an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for Masters degree)
· A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in design, integration, and testing of systems.
· Operating systems will include Microsoft Windows, as well as various UNIX and Linux versions.
· Programming languages may include Assembly, C, C++, Microsoft.Net (C#, Visual Basic), and Java.
· Minimum of an IAT-I certification. If not held, certification must be obtained within six months of date of hire.
Security Clearance
· This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
