Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide general dental services, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures
- Administer local anesthesia and perform pain management techniques
- Conduct dental radiographic examinations and interpret results
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Opendental or similar dental software
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
- Familiarity with Opendental software is a Plus or other dental practice management systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance in a dental office setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
