Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts
- Train and develop team members on company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company standards in product quality, food safety, and cleanliness
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in transactions
- Schedule employee shifts and assign duties effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Uphold a positive work environment and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service
Skills:
- Proficient in retail math for managing sales, inventory, and cash handling
- Experience in conducting interviews, recruiting, and training development
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of payroll processes and ability to assist with payroll duties
- Previous experience as a clerk or assistant manager in a retail environment
- Excellent math skills for calculating sales figures, discounts, and profits
