POSITION SUMMARY
Provide world class support to our network of primary care and specialty providers. Recruit new primary care and specialty providers.
Supporting our network means sharing regulatory and policy changes, helping the network use our tools, answering provider questions, fixing the inevitable issues, and making sure we always close the loop on open items.
Provider relations representatives must be able to multitask and have multiple assignments completed quickly. They often have their hands full with work, but are always able to finish it on-time
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prioritize and meet deadlines
- Coordinate with other subject matter expert to get issues or questions resolved.
- Work independently but know when to bring in other subject matter experts or management
- Keep track of your open issues / tasks and reliably meet the expectations you create. Keep your promises.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Drive to Provider Offices on a weekly basis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (minimum qualifications)
- Thorough understanding of managed care concepts, one can demonstrate required written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving and decision making skills required. Knowledge in Excel and Word. Ability to navigate through and utilize various PC applications efficiently.
- Self-direction and self-starter skills required.
- Experience in medical terminology, coding, and/or claims processing is helpful
- 1-2 years previous managed care experience strongly desired.
- Social networking is an important; in order to make a business grow and succeed, one must be willing to share ideas with others.
- High School Diploma required but prefer a Bachelor’s Degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 per year
