```Duties```
- Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as directed by the teacher
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies
- Collaborate with the teacher and other paraprofessionals to ensure effective instruction and support for students
- Monitor student progress and document observations as needed
```Requirements```
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development and literacy education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students with special needs
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certification or coursework)
