The Office of the Governor is looking for a Compliance Analyst (Compliance Analyst II-III) to work in the Office of Compliance and Monitoring.

What You’ll Do
This is a job that performs complex (journey-level) to highly complex (senior-level) compliance analysis work to include desk and site compliance reviews on entities receiving economic development funds awarded by the Office of the Governor. Work involves analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring records, reports, policies, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Performs regulatory compliance reviews that are complex to highly complex in nature to determine compliance with contracts, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Monitors contract performance by conducting desk and site reviews, and examines deliverables, performance metrics and specific eligibility determinations for compliance with terms of contract and agency policies.
- Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data to verify documentation for disbursements.
- Identifies/documents issues regarding compliance with regulations or standards that require follow-up.
- May conduct quality control reviews of other team members' compliance reviews.
- Maintains and updates data in internal data tracking systems.
- Performs statistical sampling of data.
- May assists with the development of policies, procedures and rules related to economic development programs.
- Maintains well-organized and accurate work papers.
How You’ll Qualify
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, forensic accounting, compliance and risk management, financial regulatory compliance, or a related field; and
- For CA II - One (1) year of experience in contract management, regulatory compliance analysis or monitoring; legal analysis; and/or financial auditing work.
- For CA III - Two (2) years of experience in contract management, regulatory compliance analysis or monitoring, and/or financial auditing work.
Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
This classification functions in a standard office environment. Ability to move up to 20 Ibs. Ability to drive and travel as needed. Will need to move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, set up conference rooms for meetings, etc. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information via phone, computer and in person. Must be able to observe and evaluate data in a variety of formats, including hard copy, electronic and media formats. Must be able to work hours during a legislative session that include holidays and as needed.
