This key position will work very closely with all other IT and business teams; like the EUD-End Users Device team, Network team, SAP, MII and the application team along with the business operation. This person’s main responsibility will be O365, E-Mail, Server, Storage, Database, their safety and flawless operation. This position will be the data custodian for the organization and hence will be accountable for its restoration whenever needed. This position will be a key player in the cloud operations.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates should have enterprise experience.
- Experience with Office 365/ MS Exchange and content filtering software.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft workstation operating systems and desktop client software including Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows Server 2008 to the latest, active directory, domains, permissions, file access, network authentication, and server hardware/software support.
- Extensive experience deploying and maintaining flexible infrastructure solutions such as VMWare and other hypervisors.
- Knowledge and experience with Storage Area Network preferably cloud based.
- Extensive knowledge of Backup/ Restore is required. Experience with product / tool like EMC’s Avamar, Data Domain preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of server hardware, preferably Hyperconverged Solution like Nutanix and UCS. Experience should include monitoring, installation, configuration, tuning and management.
- Knowledge of patch management practices.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies without formal training.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively apply customer service skills and techniques. This includes; being responsive to customers, maintaining professionalism especially in stressful circumstances, and following through with customers to ensure needs were met.
- Experience with cloud based centralized data center (Co-Lo) management preferred.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to the latest version, Microsoft SMS administration will be a plus.
- Remote support for National/ International Clients.
- Work with inter/intra team members around the globe to research, plan, implement and support IT flexible, high availability solutions.
- Work with enterprise infrastructure including but not limited to, MS Active Directory, MS Active Directory Group Policies, MS Exchange, MS Clusters, MS SMS, MS SQL, Veritas Backup Exec, Antivirus, EMC SANs, Citrix Presentation Server and monitoring tools.
- Utilize project management skills and manage day to day priorities.
- Support network and internet protocols and applications including but not limited to WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IIS, SNMP, SMTP, Interface Redundancy, SSL.
- Research, test, and implement business continuity, including Disaster recovery, patch management, security, etc.
- Evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
- Create, modify and keep network documentation.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Performs other assignments as required.
