Position Summary:
As a Certified X-Ray Technologist at our Waltham location, you will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals providing medical and surgical care for both adults and children with muscle and bone injuries, disabilities, and diseases. Your role will involve operating X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment that assists our renowned orthopedic surgeons with diagnosing and treating disease and injury. Key Responsibilities:

Digital Radiographic equipment operates in compliance with established guidelines.

Diagnostic radiology services cater to patients of all ages, adhering to radiation protection principles and departmental policies and procedures.

Patient care and education are integral to the execution of procedures.

Accurate patient positioning and technique selection ensure the technical quality of radiographs and contribute to the department's goal of reducing retake rates.

Work practices incorporate radiation safety principles, contact precautions, proper requisition handling, and pre/post-procedure protocols.

Tasks related to additional departmental, organizational, or network objectives are completed as required.

Management may assign other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology

Valid certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of Massachusetts

Experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred but not required
