Job Overview:
As an Associate Attorney at our firm, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and expertise in areas of law including mostly family law, personal injury, business, and landlord/tenant. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases requiring strong research, writing, and negotiation skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on various topics including family law, personal injury, business, and landlord/tenant
- Appear for various court proceedings and emergency hearings
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and briefs with precision and attention to detail
- Assist in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide administrative support for legal tasks and maintain accurate case files
- Participate in client meetings and court proceedings as needed
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Maryland state bar association (District of Columbia a plus)
- Proven experience in legal drafting, research, and analysis
- Familiarity with family law, personal injury, business, and landlord/tenant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $75,202.57 - $90,566.53 per year
