About the Role
CharterUP is seeking a highly organized and proactive Onsite Coordinator to manage the launch and day-to-day operations of a new shuttle program for three Fortune 500 companies in the San Francisco/Oakland region. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless execution of the program and maintaining high-quality service standards. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to manage complex logistical movements and ensure the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Launch: Oversee the kickoff and successful implementation of the shuttle program
- Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of shuttle and enterprise programs, ensuring all vehicles operate on schedule and meet quality standards
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage complex logistical movements, including scheduling, routing, coordinating with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Address any issues promptly to maintain service reliability.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, promptly addressing any issues or concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Driver Coordination: Ensure drivers follow the scope of the contract and adhere to all operational guidelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the efficiency and performance of shuttle and charter operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of operations.
- Daily Operations: Manage the scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day operations of the shuttle service.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any operational challenges, minimizing disruptions and ensuring the continuity of service
Experience and Expertise
- Transportation Management: Proven experience in logistics/operations management or a similar On-Site coordinator role.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Channels: Ability to manage multiple communication channels (text, email, calls).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to manage on-site operations and travel as needed.
- Preferred: Prior military experience or experience coordinating emergency management vehicle logistics/movement
- Flexibility: Flexibility with travel, sometimes on short notice.
- Local Travel: Local travel within the Northern California region expected for the Oakland project.
- On-Site Presence: Must be on-site as necessary
Nice to have:
- Transportation Management: Experience in logistics/operations management or a similar On-Site coordinator role.
