North Community Counseling Centers, Inc. is seeking a Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement. This individual will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to: regulatory compliance with local, state and federal guidelines, evaluating the adequacy of internal control and identify inefficient business processes that hinder compliance, proposing solutions relating to compliance requirements that impact the company's products and business, researching new and existing laws, regulations, policies, monitoring industry standards, and identify existing and emerging business practice issues and risks of company.
Key Responsibilities:
- CARF accreditation and program certification
- OHMAS Certification
- Agency Compliance
- Ongoing development of agency policies, procedures and quality management
- Utilization review/case management program
- Data collection and data analysis
- Quarterly operational audits
- Quarterly and annual performance and utilization reports
- Departmental policies and procedures
- Quality improvement interventions
- QI related meetings
- Consumer complaint, grievance and appeals
- Privacy Officer
- Compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
- Corporate Compliance Officer
- Training activities related to quality and reliability of service delivery
- Direct service
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Human Service or related field required
- MA/MS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in behavioral health quality improvement, accreditation, data analysis, improvement plan and utilization development required
- Minimum 2 years experience in compliance
- CARF/JCAHO or equivalent experience required
- Strong investigative, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be experienced in using MS Office
- Must be familiar with state and federal regulations
- Should have an understanding of organizational structure and account management
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
