- Build a good rapport with our patients
- Ensure quality diagnostic images are produced
- Educate and inform the patient on the process and expectation of the procedure being performed
- Position the patient on the table per any instructions provided by the ordering physician
- Reviews the images to ensure they have a quality scan and can be read
- Upload and submit Images for imaging interpretations and reports
- Maintain communication with the ordering provider and office staff including the Medical Radiologist
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This is a full-time position (minimum 30 hours a week) with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the procedure
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proficient in operating MRI equipment and understanding imaging protocols
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist
- Experience as an MRI Technologist (preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
