Renewal by Andersen of Wyoming, Montana and Rapid City is currently hiring for the position of Supply Chain Inventory Assistant.
Renewal by Andersen is a 'start to finish' residential window replacement company serving Wyoming, Montana, and the Rapid City, SD area. We are the full-service replacement division of Andersen Windows, which is the largest and oldest window manufacturer nationwide. The purpose of this position is to assist/collaborate with the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to maintain our internal inventory system. This includes sourcing materials, services, and vendors while managing the inventory of materials for the company spanning three major territories: Montana, Wyoming, and Rapid City, SD.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Development, maintenance, and visual basic coding of our internal inventory scanning system and kiosks. This includes our label printing program and keeping the database current.
- Assist with purchasing supplies, materials, and parts for the company.
- Maintain knowledge of future deliveries and anticipate material availability to avoid out-of-stock and overstocking issues.
- Develop and maintain inventory databases for supplies and materials used.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales, service, and logistics to maximize efficiency in purchasing and inventory control department.
- Maintain relationship with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
- Plan & schedule the maintenance of our fleet, including trucks and trailers and coordinate service with the warehouse managers and installers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel with extensive knowledge in macros, formulas, and Visual Basic.
- Familiar with API a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the inventory process and related software would be a plus
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors and coworkers.
- Experience in Google Suite, salesforce, QuickBooks is preferred.
- Valid drier’s license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration or a related field will be given preference.
- Experience using visual basic preferred.
- A minimum of one year of purchasing/inventory experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- May be asked to travel to visit company warehouses.
