Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and repairing equipment
- Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Fabricate parts or components as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Proficiency in using Systems (PMS) once you are trained
- Ability to maintain various equipment
- Knowledge of simple and plumbing and electrical repairs that do not need licensing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and staff
- Leadership capabilities to supervise maintenance staff efficiently
