Architect’s Job Description:
At Advanced Construction Allies, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Project Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our architectural department, you will lead and manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to design standards, schedules, and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in architectural design, construction documents, and project management, combined with a commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Develop and present architectural designs, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
- Coordinate with the BIM modeler to integrate designs into the BIM environment.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all necessary regulatory approvals are obtained, including the ability to submit permit applications and other required documents to local authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect in California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural software.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and integration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- LEED accreditation and/or other relevant certifications preferred.
