SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist role at Hanwha Qcells is a unique opportunity that requires a blend of skills. The Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of company facilities. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing office supplies, overseeing facility-related projects, and ensuring health and safety regulations compliance. The Specialist will work closely with various departments to support the company's operational needs and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facility Management
- Coordinate and oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.
- Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
- Schedule and supervise contractors and service providers for maintenance and repair work.
2. Office Management
- Manage and coordinate office space planning and allocation, including moves and reconfigurations.
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets and equipment.
3. Project Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing facility-related projects, such as renovations and upgrades.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
- Monitor project progress and report on status to management.
4. Vendor and Contract Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with service standards.
5. Support and lead the General Affairs projects as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in the HR/GA field is not required.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in facility management or general affairs roles.
- Facility maintenance experience.
- Vendor/contractor management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
