At Elevate Healing IV Hydration, we are passionate about helping you achieve optimal health & wellness by replenishing you with intravenous vitamin drips and vitamin injections. We are looking for RNs with EXPERT IV skills, emergency room experience preferred. Must have a minimum of 3 years of IV experience - your resume should reflect job assignments where IVs were routinely administered. This position is for either spa location, mobile, or both.
For Spa Location - Infusions are located at Point Richmond, CA. The position would be as a part time infusion nurse primarily serving adult population individuals and small groups. Occasionally, we would be providing IVs to larger groups, ie, weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, promotional events, etc. Nurses should have a minimum 4 hours a week of availability. This is a Part-time position.
For Mobile - IVs will be services in home or office setting throughout the Bay Area from Berkeley to American Canyon to Marin County, and cities surrounding and in between. Candidate will be providing mobile IV therapies at patients location utilizing their personal vehicle. Nurses will have flexibility to market and generate their own clientele as a cooperative effort to increase return on investment. Our team creates positive change in the lives of others by helping people feel better in the comfort of their own home. Our nurses provide relief to those suffering from cold/flu-like symptoms, nausea and vomiting, migraines, fatigue, hangovers, and so much more. Nurses must possess expert IV skills, keen assessment skills, excellent bedside manner, and have a zealous drive to get out there and treat as many patients as possible while making great money in the process!
We are looking for nurses who are available a minimum of 1-3 days per week. During your "on call days" you are simply made available. The patient selects their service online from our menu of fluids, vitamins, and add-ins but of course once you arrive to the patient, treatment is always customizable based off their needs. Qualified and experienced nurses will be provided with extensive training in order to provide the absolute best care for our patients using regimented protocols established by our Medical Director.
Under the direction of our Medical Director and Nurse Manager, you will administer intravenous hydration and nutrient therapy. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), an Associate Degree in Nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program. Previous infusion experience is required. Qualified candidates will have expert-level IV initiation and maintenance skills.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Consult with clients, perform brief health assessments, and obtain vital signs
- Review client health history
- Provide client education on the qualities and benefits of IV therapies and services in relation to client health goals
- Address and answer client questions
- Administer intravenous hydration, nutrient, and medication therapy
- Maintain client safety and confidentiality at all times
- Carefully monitor client response and condition throughout the infusion process
- Document accurately according to company policy
- Able to provide services and function independently in a variety of settings including offices, gyms, and other locations
- Support the overall goals of the company
- Perform other job-related duties as requested or required
- Assist with maintaining and organizing supply inventory
- Provide therapeutic communication along with exceptional customer service
- Communicate with the medical director and nurse manager any issues or adverse effects clients experience
REQUIREMENTS, JOB QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active unencumbered California RN license
Auto insurance
BLS certification
Expert level IV insertion skills - Emergency Room experience preferred
Infusion therapy experience
Infection control and prevention awareness
Strong clinical background and experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience (5+ preferred) as a nurse in ER, outpatient infusion setting, or similar setting related to IV infusions
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients and business associates
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work with a diverse clientele
