Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating patient care, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. Duties: - Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and efficient flow of patients - Greet and check-in patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical history as necessary - Assist with medication administration and other medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals - Perform physical examinations and document patient information accurately in electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks - Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment care instructions - Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, following aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality - Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients - Assist in acute pain management for patients as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant or similar program preferred - Proven experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role - Proficiency in using electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks - Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications - Familiarity with ventilating patients and dialysis procedures is a plus - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages for eligible employees.
