We are currently seeking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk Representative at our private Primary Care office. This position is integral to our practice's growth and success, as it involves providing exceptional customer service, facilitates the process of patient flow by performing specific functions designed to schedule, received, and discharge patients efficiently and effectively.

Primary Functions & Accountabilities
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain the registration / front desk, answer phone lines, and schedule appointments.
- Enter and update patient information, verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and collect co-pays.
- Provide administrative support to providers as needed.
- Provide general office assistance including maintenance of office equipment and office administrative inventory.
- Perform general clerical duties such photocopying and faxing
- Communicate with providers, medical assistants, patient resource coordinators, and other support staff as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance plan participation and ensures appropriate processing of insurance information.
- Manage telephone, fax, and e-mail requests in a timely and organized manner to ensure effective communication and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work flexible schedules to meet clinic needs.

- Must be able to multi-task with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and focus.
- Must be comfortable assessing situations and resolving or escalating as required.
- Able to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, team members and providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- One year of relevant Front desk medical office experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is required
