Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
- Assist in organizing and coordinating office events and meetings
- Perform data entry tasks, including order entry and file management
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Assist with other office-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and QuickBooks
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including phone systems and printers
- Experience in event planning is a plus
