Summary
The Speech-Language Pathology will use their professional skills to preform diagnostic speech and language evaluations with the patient to develop an individualized plan of care in coordination with the patient's caregiver, physician, and other healthcare team members. The goal of the Speech-Language Pathology will be to help the patient set therapeutic goals based on their health history and personal concerns that will improve their communication and/or swallowing problems in order to safely to return to independence in the home setting. Our smaller facility ensures that the SLP can quickly connect with our patients, guarantee patient dignity, and make a positive lasting impression during their short term stay.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Nebraska.
- One (1) year experience in Speech-Language Pathology in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
