GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position serves as office support for the Wyoming Gaming Commission. General duties include: answering telephone calls, answering customer questions or directing them to the right team member, clerical work, filing, assisting with licensing of individuals, assisting with the Wyoming Bred Program, assisting with accounts receivable (deposits), website updates, social media updates, and miscellaneous gaming research.

Assisting customers and answering questions.

Directing customers to team members.

General clerical work.

Assisting with the licensing of individuals.

Assisting with the Wyoming Bred program.

Updating/ maintaining websites and social media.

Assisting with miscellaneous gaming research.
KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of applicable computer applications.

Knowledge of interpersonal communications.

Knowledge of critical thinking skills.

Knowledge and understanding of the agency, and each respective division/program.

Knowledge of investigating alleged non-compliance.

Knowledge of time management for multiple challenging tasks.

Knowledge in keeping customer relations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associate's Degree (typically in Business)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist I
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist I
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.
