The Crowne Plaza Union City Hotel is looking for a Night Auditor to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. The Night Auditor is responsible for checking in and out guests efficiently and courteously using the property management system. Process all payments according to established hotel policies and requirements. Provide information and customer service to guests and visitors of the hotel and runs end-of-day reports.

The Night Auditor is responsible for all Night Audit work. Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift. Primary responsibilities include registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, and balancing transactions.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all Night Audit/Front Desk Agent Functions as required; assist in booking room reservations; assist in answering hotel phone calls and notifying guests of messages.
- Complete Night Audit procedures
- Review, organize, and compile management reports on a timely basis and ensure the accuracy of guest bills and city ledger transactions.
- Balance all room revenue, F&B revenue, and room expenses.
- Complete nightly reports and supporting documents for General Manager review.
- Prepare housekeeping reports regarding the status of all rooms.
- Work at the front desk including check-in/out, phone calls, wake-up calls, reservations, etc.
- Provide first impressions to our guests and possess a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Processes customer payments according to established policies and procedures
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Resolves minor guest(s) complaints to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Respond to guests promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-year experience as a Night Auditor
- High School or GED
- IHG Brand Experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the Opera reservation system
- Accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
