Open Position - Field Representative
A Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation (SHCPF) field representative’s primary responsibility will be to conduct personal visits and phone calls to each assigned nursing home and HUD facility customer in their designated territories throughout each year. The field representative will be a 1099 consultant and will have flexibility with determining their own work hours. They will be required to complete a background check, new hire program and field training and will be paid monthly according to facility visits and phone calls completed. Travel expenses and phone usage will be reimbursed.
Must have home office with working computer and current Microsoft Office software access, internet and phone services; reliable personal vehicle and means for hotel/flight expenses during travel. The coverage area for this territory is vast and must be able to fly to further states and purchase plane tickets ahead of time that will be reimbursed. Field representative will present themselves in a professional manner wearing casual businesslike attire for all visits and events.
The field representative’s objectives during personal visits/phone calls will be to:
- communicate all benefits of the various Senior Crimestoppers programs and how they provide protection for the residents
- motivate usage of the 24/7 tips line and educational videos
- promote facility education using the Senior Sentry program
- encourage each facility to perform their own in-services on a regular basis or the field representative may be requested to perform these in-services as needed
- ensure that lockboxes are installed properly, where applicable
- encourage facilities to complete and submit their Wish Comes True grant forms
- ensure the membership charter is hung and signage is visible in each facility
- update all facility and contact information by completing Call/Visit Reports
- provide any additional supplies requested
The field representative may also be asked to perform additional tasks on an as needed basis, which will be communicated by the Program Director.
