We are looking for a liable credit union Member Services/Teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently following established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our credit union and play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable communicating with different clients and selling the credit union’s products/services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union professionally. Represent the credit union to members courteously and professionally and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service.
- Screen potential members for eligibility.
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
- Conduct orientation interviews on credit union services and programs with each new credit union member.
- Process stop payments and assist members with disputes or fraud cases.
- Promote credit union products and services based on member needs obtained from member interviews and review of members’ accounts.
- Return all phone calls and messages daily.
- Work as Teller
- Assist on the teller line as needed to conduct routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc.)
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
- Resolve members’ issues and provide relevant information
Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of all state and federal regulations that apply to the transactions performed in the department, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC, Truth In Lending, Truth In Savings, and Fair Credit.

- Minimum of 1-year customer service experience or two years cash handling experience.

Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:50 AM - 5:00 PM; Rotating Saturday schedule: 08:50 AM - 1:00 PM. Saturday shifts at the Main Office (4200 Kolb Street).
Closed Sunday & most holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.63 - $23.34 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
