Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the catering department, including food production, banquet setup, and coffee service.
- Ensure that all catering events are executed smoothly and efficiently, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in catering or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Knowledge of bartending techniques is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and have a strong attention to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
