The Membership Manager is focused on building long-term, value-based member relationships that enable the achievement of acquisition and retention goals. The incumbent is responsible for assisting with administrative support tasks relating to Membership. This position plays a key role in the daily interaction and direction of all Club members/vendors/staff. All tasks and assignments encompassing this position are to be performed with the aim of achieving all Departmental/Club operational objectives at the highest level in support of the vision of Fisher Island Club. Primary Responsibilities:

Provides supervision and training to all Membership Front Desk staff

Effectively responds to Club Members, prospective members, and realtors with inquiries regarding Club Dues, Rules & Regulations in accordance with Club standards

Prepares Member and Prospective Member correspondence.

Coordinate the membership application process, including banking, background, and referral documents

Follows-up on all prospective and new member communications
-
Assists prospective members in fulfilling application requirements.

Perform New Member Orientations, either individually or in a group, including a review of the Club rules and regulations and communicating any changes to the membership of the rules and regulations.

Supervision and management of member tracking systems; maintain confidential computerized membership files on an ongoing basis including title changes, inheritance, family deed transfers, and other related Equity Membership tasks.

Assist with the development and execution of the membership-related portion of the Club’s annual budget.

Introduce potential members to club members with similar interests, backgrounds, business experience, and mutual friends.

Promotes, and generates enthusiasm and interest in the Club's social activities.

Answer phone calls and handle all correspondence for Membership and general operations

Accurately maintain Membership Database

Processes member resignations; develops reports and undertakes special projects as applicable

Develops and ensures that established procedures for processing prospective members’ applications are consistently followed.

Perform other Membership related functions as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
College degree is preferred with three (3) years of club experience in a similar capacity.

The ability to interact with members and guests as well as oversee all administrative functions as it relates to the member files including dues and payments.

Excellent understanding of computers and software programs including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all member information
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Working knowledge of Club/Membership practices, regulations, and operational procedures.

Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Knowledge of or ability to learn POS systems, Agilisys, Open-Table, and other restaurant reservations Management.

Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects and shift priorities based on business demands.

Education/Experience:
