1. Summary Description
Why does the job/role exist?
This position is responsible for data entry & file opening for customs entries to U.S. Customs. The person works to make sure we have received all the needed documents from origin. They open a Carmichael file in the operating system and key data from the documents into the operating. This person has experience with Carmichael or in the industry that allows them to handle more volume, reliable accuracy and manage specialized customers.

3. Key Accountability/Job Duties
- 25% - Read emails and receive/review documents
- 25% - Open files in the operating system
- 25% - Key data into the system
- 25% - Coordinate and communicate with other team members
4. Job Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Graduate or GED
- Experience: 2-5 years entry writing or related experience
- Skill Sets: Attention to detail, speed, teamwork, copying, problem solving, commitment to task
- Language Skills: Strong written and spoken English

Education:

Experience:
- Customs Brokerage / import entry clearance: 3 years (Preferred)
- Data entry: 5 years (Preferred)
- CBP ACE/PGA Transmission: 3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 5 years (Preferred)
