POSITION SUMMARY:
The Order Entry Representative receives and manages all incoming documentation for orders to meet builder estimated schedule dates. This position works closely with company field installation teams and other internal departments to ensure that the client’s orders are completed in a time sensitive manner with a high degree of accuracy.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives builder starts and design center selections via email or various builder websites.
- Creates work order and prepares for Field Service Representative.
- Enter all pertinent information into various systems.
- Receives delivery and install dates from builder superintendent or builder website.
- Pull files based on lead-time production for orders dependent on manufacturer’s schedule.
- Confirms accurate purchase order pricing based on contract.
- Receives measurements from the Field Service Representative, revises master packing slip or creates new packing slip for purchasing.
- Communicates with builder if any information is missing or inaccurate to place order.
- Processes all change orders.
- Responsible for overall maintenance of the email box and systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Impeccable skills in data entry, order tracking and report generation.
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, accuracy and attention to detail skills.
- Background in Cabinetry Production or Start Desk a plus.
This is an in-office position in Tempe, AZ.
