Hancock Veterinary Services is seeking a highly motivated and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage multi-line phone system, relay messages, and provide client direction.
- Schedule appointments
- Check-in and check-out clients and their pets
- Collect payments and process invoices
- Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
- Provide support to veterinary staff as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills and software
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30AM-5:30PM with a 1 hour lunch.
Every other Saturday 7:45AM - 12:00PM
Physical Demands:
The Veterinary Receptionist may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time. They may also need to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
The Veterinary Receptionist will work in a veterinary clinic environment, which may include exposure to animal hair, dander, and odors. They may also be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
