About Kanileʻa ʻUkulele: We at Kanileʻa ʻUkulele blend a traditional and contemporary style to manufacture and deliver some of the worldʻs leading ʻukulele. We stand by our values of M.U.S.I.C. Meticulous, Uplifting, Sustainable, Innovative and Character. We are a 24 year old family run business headquartered in Kāneʻohe and have a Windward Mall Retail Space. Come October 2022 we will be opening our newest Ala Moana retail space and this is where we want to find outstanding team members to spread Aloha through M.U.S.I.C.
Overview: We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time team members to operate our newest Ala Moana retail store. The Retail Brand Sales Associate will be responsible to present, sell, and display ʻukuleles to customers who enter the retail store. The Retail Brand Sales Associate must display our company core values in being detail oriented, joyful, lively, conscientious, forward thinking, honest, and with strong integrity. Employee must be willing to work nights, holidays and weekends.

Skills and Abilities:

- Able to play the `ukulele with an adequate skill level.
- Fluency in English is required and the ability to speak other languages is desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Create an unforgettable experience that customers will leave and tell everyone about.
- Build and close sales by working with customers to provide them individualized experiences based on what you observe and learn about them.
- Participate in team and company retail events.
- Capture and create customer profiles to grow brand loyalty.
- Ask for and receive Reforestation donations.
- Build cohesive relationships with coworkers and members of the team.
- Share feedback and insight with the management team.
- Adhere to merchandising, pricing, and replenishment procedures.
- Achieve and overcome sales quotas.
- Acquire basic understanding of how an instrument is built.
- Follow all opening and closing procedures.
- Adhere to the dress code as laid out.
- Communicate clearly and with a purpose.
- Live and exemplify our core values.
- Can bend, reach, stand, stretch for product. As well as lift and move at least 40 pounds.
- Can stand and move about all areas of the store that are accessible to customers.
