MRI Technologist Opportunity
Our client, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is seeking an MRI Tech to join their dynamic team. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist who will play a crucial role in our client's mission of providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care, and who is eager to grow professionally in this field.
As an MRI Technologist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures that are crucial in diagnosing and treating various conditions. Your role will be instrumental in providing the best possible care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans following established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings as needed to obtain high-quality images.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver imaging results.
- Educate patients about the MRI process and address any concerns or questions.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation protection measures.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with MRI technology and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- TMB State licensure.
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- CPR certification is preferred.
