Hunter College Head Women’s Swim Coach (Part-time)- IMMEDIATE HIRE
Hunter College (CUNY), located in the heart of New York City, is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Swim Coach. Hunter College is a member of the City University of New York Conference (CUNY) and the NCAA Division III.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and collegiate coaching experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree and HEAD collegiate coaching experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head Coach must be a swim enthusiast with a love and passion for the game. The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
- Meet (tactical strategies) and practice preparation.
- Player skill development
- Assist in the academic progress
- Assist in scheduling of competitions.
- Oversight of the assistant coaching staff
- Provide a positive and competitive team environment.
- Team travel
- Assist in alumni outreach and development.
- Ethical leadership
- Valid Driver’s license
- And other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics, Recreation, and Intramurals.
This is a part-time coaching position with a salary range of $10,000 – $12,000. For those who can fill other athletic/recreation administrative roles, a potential position with additional compensation may be available.
