Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth in a retail environment.
Duties:
- Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support
- Oversee stock levels, pricing strategies, and purchasing decisions to optimize inventory
- Monitor and manage retail sales performance, implementing strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members
- Utilize POS systems effectively to process transactions and track sales data
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
- Assist in payroll management and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels
Requirements:
- Proven experience in team management within a retail setting
- Strong understanding of stock management, pricing strategies, and purchasing processes
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business growth
- Experience in conducting interviews and building effective teams
- Proficiency in POS systems and other retail technologies
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor staff
