Sen of Japan Restaurant is looking for candidates to fill a SUSHI CHEF position. Candidates must be able to perform duties as required:
Sushi Chef Duties and Requirements:
- Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.
- Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, prepping methods, quality standards and bar rules, policies and procedures.
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area at all times.
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
- Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
- Minimum 3 years experience in sushi bar, Japanese / Asian Cuisine preferred!!!
- Must be able to communicate clearly with other staff and managers.
